Responsible for providing administrative and technical support for the Mechanical Section Manager and Team Leaders within Water Assets and Facilities Unit (including electrical, mechanical, Etek, Fabrication, facilities and catchment management).
Key activities of this role include:
- Perform administrative duties associated with Council's registers and databases including Oracle ERP, ECM/TRIM, Works Management Systems and Asset Management Systems;
- Assist Team Leaders with the preparation of O&M Proactive work schedules;
- Ensure all Central Coast Council's policies and procedures are adhered to;
- Data entry of field asset maintenance and operations and new asset information.
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III in Office Administration or related field OR demonstrated equivalent qualifications and extensive relevant experience;
- Demonstrated experience in a similar manager support role in a large sized organisation;
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft programs (word, excel, outlook) and other computer based systems;
- Demonstrated working knowledge of budgets;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with staff and the public.
Desirable Criteria:
- Current Class C NSW Drivers Licence
- Diploma in Business or Diploma in Business Administration or related disciplines.
